I am an Occupational Therapist from Sarasota, FL and received my degrees from The University of Louisiana and Louisiana State University. I am Board Certified as a lymphedema therapist as well as holding a certification in Ergonomic Assessment. I have practiced as an OT for over 11 years and my drive to find the best possible treatment for clients led me to John Barnes Myofascial Release. Application of these techniques has helped me to treat clients in the field of oncology, edema and wound care and pain management. I have also volunteered as an OT in Cambodia and with the Junior League of Sarasota where I was recognized with awards for service. Giving back to the community and caring for others is my passion, so John Barnes Myofascial Release has been a natural transition.

TESTIMONIALS

“It's hard to find words but it's the most life transforming bodywork I've experienced thus far, grounded in science and working with your body slowly rather than trying to force it. No harsh scraping or rolling or pinning, just gentle guiding pressure slowly unraveling the myofascial trauma & adhesions. Guess I found more words than I thought. Jen is very accomodating, knowledgable & receptive. The only thing that's been an issue is that she's too popular! Would highly recommend."

"My quality of life has improved dramatically since beginning MFR treatments. The team at New Life MFR is top notch and I can honestly say I would not be living my best life without their skilled work and excellent advice. My back pain was previously debilitating and nothing would help- I am now off of any medication and almost completely pain-free. My flexibility and mobility are greatly increased, and with the combo of treatment and following their suggestions for at-home stretches and exercises I bounce back from any flare-ups quickly. I highly recommend the New Life MFR team of skilled healers! Check out the MFR yoga, too!”

“Jen is a leader in her field of myofascial release. Her skill for finding what is bothering you and working on the source os unmatched. She has attended many of John Barnes’ continuing education courses and brings that continued and evolving knowledge to her MFR sessions. MFR is an investment in yourself. If you have an open mind for alternative therapies, you will not be disappointed.”

“I highly recommend New Life Myofascial Release and therapist Jennifer Lind! I have struggled with neck/TMJ pain for a while and looked into MFR therapy on the recommendations of a speech language pathologist. At my first appointment, Jennifer took the time to do a thorough evaluation and tailor the session to my specific needs. Though my main concern was my jaw, she addressed the entire body's interconnectedness and included areas that I didn’t even realize were affecting me until I felt them release. She has also given me techniques I can use at home between sessions. My pain is much improved since I started working with Jennifer. I also appreciate how much Jennifer truly cares for her patients – she understands everyone has different financial situations/scheduling availability and will work with you to make a realistic, individualized treatment schedule. I highly recommend New Life MFR for anyone else struggling with neck/jaw pain!”

“After a car accident, I couldn't hardly walk or get out of bed. I googled myofascial release therapists that were trained by John F. Barnes. I was super excited to find Jen Lind in my area. I read her bio, checked out the testimonials, her website and scheduled a session. By the end of the first session, I could at least walk, and the pain in my neck from a whiplash injury was at least tolerable.

I have always been in great shape being a marathon runner and used to massage therapists, yoga sessions, pilates, etc. Jen is different and truly gifted. She comes from her heart, and it's reflected in her work. She is able to tune (very intuitive) into where the issue is and start to release the issues in the tissues. She gently guides you, and educates you during the process. She is an expert and has a thorough understanding of the human anatomy. She provides self-care exercises and suggestions to empower you as you heal. Jen is very patient and LISTENS TO YOU!!! She works with you.

I highly recommend Jen if you are serious about feeling good, reclaiming good posture and great health, release emotional issues and restrictions and start to feel good!!! Jen is the real thing. You will not regret choosing her as part of your wellness team. I am so grateful I found her and beyond that, she's just a really nice, caring person who has found her passion in life!!!! If you want the best, you just found her!”

“I have hand and neck pain. I am a guitarist so the hand pain is a big deal. I thought surgery was going to be my only option until I visited New Life MFR. I always leave feeling like a new man, and unlike other therapies I’ve tried, these improvements actually stick!

Jen is a true professional. It’s obvious that she loves what she does. She’s constantly attending additional classes/seminars and just seems so proud and passionate about her work.

She really listens to you and tailors her treatment approach according to your needs.

My only complaint is that too many people know about her! Haha she books up FAST! So hurry up and get on her schedule!!”
